Robert Rankin: Age: 49. I am a Custodian at Port Allegany Junior-Senior High School, I have been there for 25 years now. I am originally from Tarentum, Pa which is a suburb of Pittsburgh. In October of 1965 my family moved to Port Allegany, Pa for my dad’s job as he was working for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. In December of 1983 I married Lora Morris, and we have been married for 25 wonderful years, I have two children, Valorie Rankin who is 22 and resides in Brookville, Pa. And our son Matthew Rankin is 24, and is the founder of our team.
While hunting and fishing are my two greatest passions I have also been coaching high school football for 12 years. I enjoy watching sports. Going for walks with my wife. I also enjoy doing a little bit of taxidermy work as well, which someday I plan to do once I retire.
My favorite hunting would be tracking big bucks in the snow, there are a group of brothers whom I enjoy reading about from Maine, the Benoit brothers. Like them I feel that there is nothing greater than locating a big buck track in the fresh powdery snow and following it over mountains, through laurel patches, over rock piles, and eventually getting a shot at him. The thrill of the chase is so exciting to me, I also enjoy spring gobbler hunting, coyote hunting and hunting the elusive Pa black bear.

Rikiya Tanaka: Age: 35. I was born and raised in Denver, Co. I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and received a B.S. in International Business. After meeting my wife, we decided to move back to her hometown of Port Allegany, Pa. We have been married 10 years, and I have to wonderful children, my daughter Emi Tanaka is 7, and my son Taro Tanaka is 5. We also have a golden retriever, Yuki. I own and operate a beverage distributor in Port Allegany, Pa as well as a Bar in Smethport, Pa. In my spare time I enjoy tae-kwon do, taking my kids and wife skiing, riding 4-wheelers, snowmobiling, taking my son to shoot archery as well as rifle shooting. My favorite hunting would have to be hunting muleys in Colorado or pa whitetails during the rut.

David Gustafson: Age: 32. I was born and raised in Port Allegany, Pa. I attended Penn State University from 1995-1999 and graduated with a B.S. in Forest Science.
I joined the PA Army National Guard in 1996. I was promoted by Direct Commission in 2006, and I am now a 1st Lieutenant / Company Executive Officer in the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team. I held many different positions as a forester, including private industry forest manager, research forester for the PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources, field forester for the PA Game Commission, Section Chief of Forest Inventory for the PGC, and in 2007 I became the Director of Forestry for the PA Game Commission. I have dedicated my career to protecting and improving the habitat for the wildlife resources that I treasure. I am most passionate about turkey hunting (and I plan to begin my quest for the grand slam in the spring of 2010 with fellow TKC Pro-Staffer Matt Rankin). The interaction between hunter and prey in this sport is unmatched. The sound of a lusty gobble shattering the silence of a spring morning in the northern mountains is something everyone should experience. I am also addicted to archery hunting for whitetails, and hunting PA black bear. I enjoy fly fishing for trout as well as fishing the river for pike and muskie. Above all, I am an avid outdoorsman and conservationist that enjoys spending time with close friends and making great memories that last a lifetime. I have been married to Christine (Readinger) Gustafson since April 2005, and currently reside in Perry County, PA with our 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

Joshua Rosenswie: Age: 20. I am from Port Allegany, Pa and still reside there. I am currently attending Saint Bonaventure University majoring in Psychology, with a minor in criminology. I have been a professional paintball player for 4 years now. I also enjoy playing basketball, working out, being in the outdoors as much as possible, and spending time with family and friends. My favorite hunting would be still hunting big Pennsylvania whitetails with a muzzleloader; I also enjoy hunting the Pennsylvania Black Bear, and also coyote hunting.

Matthew Rankin: Age: 24. I was born and raised in Port Allegany, Pa. And still live there to this day.I attended The Pennsylvania State University majoring in Forest Science with a minor in Wildlife Management. I currently work as a manager of a new bar close to my hometown. The food and beverage industry enables me to have daily interaction with people from different backgrounds that have something new and exciting to bring to my life every day. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, basketball, baseball, football and ice hockey. I like to cook, as well as write country music. When the time comes you will often find me on the seat of a tractor plowing and planting food plots, planting trees, and I also enjoy spending time with family and friends. When it comes to hunting I guess I would be classified as a fanatic of all species and seasons. Of all the seasons and species though, my two favorites would have to be spring gobbler and White-tails, during the rut with a bow. There are not many things that compare to a warm, foggy spring morning, with the sun cresting the mountain side, the birds chirping, the dew still on the grass, and the throaty gobble of an old tom waiting to court his mate. Just as well, there are also few things that compare to a moonlit sunrise late in the fall, the air is cold and brisk, the leaves are crunchy from the night frost, the forest floor is calm as that big swollen necked giant makes his way into bow range! It is very hard for me to chose between the two, so I will say that I love them both equally.
