I'm 50, married with four children. I own Evans Contractors & my daughter Johnlyn and I recently created Monster Buck Profiles purely out of our love & passion for hunting Monster Bucks.
We are allowed to hunt deer in the city with a bow by permit only. A friend of mine called me and said he was being over run with deer so I went over and took this big boy out.
This deer was fighting with another buck. I didn't ever get to see the other deer but it sounded like it was a real brawl. When the fight was over, this buck came by in range for me to get a shot.
Kill this Buck in Montana while hunting with buddies. We spotted this buck running across the plains and had to drive 60 to 70 miles per hour trying to head him off. He finally realize we were after him and he actually hid in between big round rolls of hay. We stop the truck and got out looking for him and he came running out from between the bales of hay. BBD
Finally took this stud after hunting him for almost a month. I missed him at 19 yards early in the season. Don't have a clue how I missed him but cried for weeks until he offered me a shot walking at 30 yards and I missed him again. I've hunted this deer almost every morning and afternoon and I finally took him Nov.2nd about 7.45 am. I shot him at 26 yards and hit him in the shoulder. He ran about 75 yards. He was with two are three bucks every time I saw him. Now I can go back to work.
I took this Hooking Bull in the Texas panhandle while hunting with my long time friend Vernon Bevill. This year I got to hunt with Vernon's friend Sam and really enjoyed getting to know him. My hunts with Vernon are always very special due to the fact that is about the only time we get to see each other. This year was no exception,We had a great time and I can't wait till next year to do it all over again with Vernon and Sam. If you guys read this, I can't tell you how much fun it was to be with ya'll. spending time with christian friends. Merry Christmas and God Bless you and you families.
I had a doe and a young 8 point out in front of me and it was real foggy and this big buck walked in and i didn't need to take a second look at him. This is a very well managed ranch and has lots of bucks. Even though this is a very nice buck, he is a management buck on this ranch. He is a main frame 8 and that is all he was ever going to be.
My friend Vernon Bevill and I was sitting in the shooting house together the afternoon before I killed this deer and we filmed him and decided to wait and look for a trophy buck. The next morning we came back to the same blind and we still didn't see a trophy buck. We decided to take this management buck on video because he was a 8 point and that was all he was ever going to be. He was still a very nice deer but this ranch is very well managed and he didn't belong there.
Trent, we met last year 2nd weekend of mo. rifle season. My cousin Rodney and I took two bucks that weekend. We enjoyed hunting and visiting with you and David.
