Killed this deer with a rifle in Dec of 04 sneaking across a food plot chasing a doe. First time to officially see him, have his sheds. |

Pinch point buck

Killed this deer on opening day of bow season in 2007, I was in a pinch point the deer come through to bed up after eating peanuts all night on adjacent farm- he was the 11th buck that passed by that morning- only 2 shooters though. |

Shot a doe at daylight on Thanksgiving morning, climbed down at 10am to trail her. While trailing her blood slowly for some reason I stopped and glanced up the ridge and 20 yards straight up all I saw was this deer's rack. I squatted down and got an arrow ready and 20 minutes later he finally stood up trying to see what he had heard. I was able to get a shot off but due to the steep uphill angle only hit 1 lung. Sadly, we lost the blood but I found him 1 week later about 1/2 mile from where we lost him. |

Christmas buck 2006

Scouted this spot a few weeks earlier and found good sign. I got a couple of weeks off from dental school for Christmas so I decided to give this spot a chance and unbelievably at daylight this buck followed the script to a T and ended up giving me a 15 yard shot |

Lake buck

I was hunting on the edge of a 20 acre lake the deer like to skirt the edge of- this deer came cruising by at 11:30 |

Snort wheeze buck

This buck was cold trailing a hot doe that had come through a couple of hours previously. He was at 70 yards and going the opposite direction so I threw out a couple of snort wheezes and some tending grunts knowing he was looking for the long lost doe. He did an about face and came straight to my tree breaking limbs the whole way, shot him at 12 yards. |
