About me:
I'm 33 years old been married to my lovely wife Mistie for 8 years.I have 3 boys.I'm a christian so it's important to me to bring my children up in the Lord.I was 16 when I shot my first deer back in 1996 from then on I evolved into a fanatic I moved up from shotgun to crossbow and to now compound bow where over the years I have harvested over 17 deer but only one record book buck which drives me harder to get more bucks of that quality.The last couple of years I have set goals for myself to harvest 3 1/2 year olds or better.Everyone has the right to shoot any animal that might be a trophy to them don't let the big buck hype influence you as a hunter.I have hunted wild turkey since 1998 I've harvested 10 but called in atleast that amount for other hunters to shoot.I also love to take the camera to the woods with me where I can capture our memories as well as share them with others.I do some other hunting also but I gotta say when it comes down to it I'm obsessed with giant whitetail bucks in the fall and long spurred gobblers in the spring for me it's much more than a passion it's a way of life.

This is the biggest deer I've killed.It was the perfect scenerio I was in a tree in a fencerow with standing corn behind me and a 40 acre CRP field in front of me.The tall grass makes for a good bedding area for does with the rut winding down the big boys are up on there feet cruisin lookin for the last estrous does. |

My wife decided she would like to give hunting a try so we went out one November evening this buck appeared he was bedded 250 yds out.He came to us like on a string less then 7 yds he was missing his left eye so we named him scarface.She shot at him with a crossbow and missed.9 days later shotgun law came in we walked in on him in his bed she shot him.Both these hunts are on video but I need to convert it from vhs on here |

I was setup on a bottleneck along the river on a good rubline when I heard leaves turned around here he came 13yds double lunged him.I loved hunting that spot not knowing that would be my last deer taken there the landowner passed away and someone else bought it and sold lots for houses therefor hunting privledges were revoked. |

ha YES im sooo excited and ready for that hunt!! its all i talk about! im acting so tough about it ha but im sure when the moment comes ill be ghost white and wide-eyed!! i will for sure keep you posted on when that will be and let u know how it goes!! |
